September 22nd, 2026
Let’s take a look back at the unforgettable moments and exciting highlights from an incredible weekend at Ascent Melbourne 2026 in Australia!
Path of Steel
With a $15,000 AUD prize pool and players from around the world, our main event, Path of Steel, delivered two days of intense competition as players battled for the Ascent Melbourne championship title.
Congratulations to hachico on becoming the Ascent Melbourne Champion, along with the rest in the Top 8!
The fun continued beyond the main event with a full lineup of side events and activities. Players could test their skills in Draft and Constructed tournaments, connect with fellow players during Trade Night, or get introduced to Grand Archive through beginner-friendly Starter Deck tournaments and Learn-to-Play Sessions!
Closing Ceremony
We brought the weekend to a close with a special closing ceremony and keynote presentation from Grand Archive’s Director of Operations, Roger Chen. The keynote gave players a look at what’s ahead, including new information on upcoming products and events.
