The Alchemical Revolution Season is just around the corner, and with it, Nationals Season draws near. We know many of you are asking for more details and we’re pleased to share all those details with you now.

This year our Nationals tournaments wil be hosted in 3 regions all across March:

About Nationals

Nationals is an invite-only tournament in which the top placing players will then be invited directly into the World Championships in Las Vegas, NV. The number of championship qualifying spots depends on your region.

• North American Nationals: 8 World Championship Spots
• Australia/New Zealand Nationals: 4 World Championship Spots
• Southeast Asia Nationals : 4 World Championship Spots

Only the following invite cards and their regional variants grant you entry into the 2024 Nationals Season Tournaments:








National Invite Cards are generally acquired through competition at the following events:


• Local Store Championships: The winner is granted an invite.
• Regional Tournaments: Where either the Top 4 or Top 8 are granted invites
• Ascent Path of Steel: Where either the Top 16 or 32 are granted invites




Nationals Tournament Prizing

As previously mentioned in our Organized Play article, each of our Nationals tournament will feature a minimum $10,000 Prize Pool.

However, with the success of SP1 Booster Boxes, we're pleased to announce that all participants who qualify for a World Championships slot will also have their travel and accomodations paid for.

We want to thank everyone who supports Grand Archive TCG Organized Play, and we will continue to do our best to give back to the community. In our first year, we've commit over $100k in prize pools and we don't intent to stop there.



Invite submission & CPR Redemption

Nationals Invite Cards may be sold, traded, or even used in a deck just like any other Grand Archive TCG card. Whether earned in battle or acquired by other means, the holder may use this card to participate in the Nationals tournament.

NOTE: You may only attend the Nationals with the regions of your invite. Wildcard invites are good for all regions.

Upon entry, participants in Nationals must relinquish ownership of their card to Weebs of Shore in exchange for a CPR version of their invite card.

Nationals participants will receive their submitted card upon conclusion of Round 1 of their respective tournaments to prevent re-use of entry cards. However, that does mean YOU DO KEEP BOTH CARDS: The invite card and the CPR.

Nationals participants using a Wildcard Region Invite Card will recieve their invite card at the conclusion of the Nationals Season. This is also to prevent re-use of the entry cards.



Competing at Nationals

For Nationals competitors gunning for the prestige of participating in the World Championships, just know: IT WILL BE A GRUELING BATTLE.

Nationals will be composed of not only the best players in the region, but the format regardless of attendance will feature up to 15 total Rounds; Swiss Format on Day 1 with a Day 2 Top Cut culminating in a definitive Absolute Top Placing Leaderboard. We want to ensure those that make the World Championships have truly been tested in battle. The break down for the 2 days of play can be found below:


• North American Nationals: 8 Championship Slots
• Day 1: 7 rounds swiss format
• Day 2: Top 32, 4 rounds swiss + Top 8 Single Elimination



• Oceania & Southeast Asia Nationals: 4 Championship Slots Each
• Day 1: 6 rounds swiss format
• Day 2: Top 16, 4 rounds swiss format + Top 4 Single Elimination
