Grand Archive TCG Worlds 2024 will feature our first-ever cosplay contest!
While everyone's experience with cosplay will vary, we encourage everyone to dress-up to make the vibe of the event wondrous for everyone. All cosplayers—within the rules, regulations, and requirements of what is outlined below —will receive a Non-Foil Peaceful Reunion Cosplay Promo Card as a small thanks to everyone who makes the event just a tad bit more special. Those more serious can enter for an opportunity win the Foil and CPR versions of the Peaceful Reunion Promo Card in four cosplay categories as outlined below.
The Cosplay non-foil Promo will be given out to anyone who cosplays (even non-GA related) within the parameters of the rules. To be eligible for the four major prizing categories, your cosplay must be Grand Archive-related.
2. Costumes with poor visibility are only permitted if your handler accompanies you at all times. Handlers do not need a ticket to attend the event.
3. Large, bulky, or fur-lined suits must be properly ventilated.
4. Props & Weapons
Banned:
Real firearms
Functional bows, crossbows, and other objects used for projectiles
Weapons made of steel or hard metals
Sharp weapons
All weapons and props must be inspected by the Ascent Store. They will be tagged with a colored zip tie and must not be removed until leaving the premises. Gun props must have an orange tip.

Cosplay sign-up is next to the Ascent Store starting at 9:00 am Saturday until 5:00 pm.
Please prepare evidence of your work via photos or videos. Photos of you in your cosplay will be taken and posted on a wall for voting. You may refuse to take a photo but you will not be entered into Audiences Choice. Pictures will start posting at 5:00 pm on Saturday. Voting ends Sunday at noon (12:00 pm).
There are no stage performances or stage walks.
Audience Choice - Your cosplay photo will be posted on a wall with a number. Anyone may write a number of their favorite photo and submit it—only one submission per person. The cosplayer may also vote once. Having an awesome pose helps.
Judges Choice - Wow one of our three expert judges to become a Judges’s Choice! Each judge will award their own personal pick as a 1st place winner. Runner-ups will be selected by the panel for 2nd - 4th. Short skits encouraged!
Tag Team - This category is for those who do not want to go alone. A minimum of 2 cosplayers must match the theme. For example, the same anime or the same class+element (Norm/Mage Human). A photo will be taken but will not be posted on the wall.
Best in Show: Fan favorites will be evaluated by our panel of judges to award the “Best in Show” and a runner-up. Craftsmanship will be highly valued in this category!

Cosplay Contest Rules

- 1. Professional or store-bought costumes are only eligible for Audience Choice.
- 2. 40% of the costume must be made by you or altered by you.
- 3. You must be within the dress code to enter.
- 4. A costume must represent someone or something, fictional or nonfictional, and not yourself.
- 5. Minimal cosplay that is eligible is if a judge or staff could recognize your reference.
- 6. Performance with fire or ignition is not permitted.
- 7. Staff members may compete.
Dress Code
1. Costumes deemed too revealing are not permitted to enter the venue or the cosplay contest. Costumes that reveal the genitalia or outline of the genitalia are too revealing. Sheer clothing under 50 denier are too revealing. For appropriate body coverage guidelines, please refer to the image below:
