A look at the regionals season for .asphodel/paradise!

With the release of .asphodel/paradise just behind us, let’s take a look at all things regionals for the upcoming season!
Overview
Grand Archive Regionals are Swiss style tournaments which award the top placing players Nationals Qualifier Cards in addition to other prizes. These cards will be worth 3 Nationals Qualifier Points toward the 2027 Nationals events. Players may win multiple duplicate prize cards, but only the first unique copy is redeemable for points at Nationals.
Prizing
Upon entry, players will receive .asphodel/paradise Event Packs, .asphodel/paradise Booster Packs, an exclusive Regional playmat, as well as the new .asphodel/paradise Sapphire Pack!
Sapphire packs are Regionals exclusive packs which contain a single foil card each, from the cards exclusive to the most recent line of preconstructed decks. These cards are not available in foil outside of Sapphire packs. For the .asphodel/paradise season, the cards exclusive to the Dante, Hemomancer and Lorraine, Arclight Saber Starter Decks will be available in these packs.
This season’s entry prize is exclusive microfiber playmats! These playmats come in blind bags where you can obtain one of three art variants. Southeast Asian Regionals will receive these same art variants but in different dimensions. These will be exclusive to participating in events in person, so the online regionals will not have these available to players.
Players who place well in the event will earn playmats based on the final standings. A finalist playmat will be given to all players who earn a Nationals Qualifier Card (Top 4/8/16/32 depending on attendance), while the player who finishes in first place will receive a Champion playmat. This season, the finalist playmat features the art of Capacitance X Psycho, while the champion playmat features the art of Rolling Chorus. Here’s a first look at these two exclusive playmats!
