Ascent is headed back to New Zealand for it's 2nd event in Auckland! This event will only feature the Path of Steel, the competitive Grand Archive event for players with a minimum prize pool of $10,000 USD ($16,100 NZD) up for grabs, or $15,000 USD at 256+ players. However, there will be plenty of side events and after-hour festivities for the community.

Q: What format and sets will be played at the event?
A: Standard. The sets that will be legal are Dawn of Ashes, Fractured Crown, Alchemical Revolution (+ Alter), Mercurial Heart (+ Alter), Mortal Ambition, Abyssal Heaven, and Distorted Reflections!

Q: What is a Nationals Qualifier Card?
A: It is a playable Grand Archive card that doubles as an admission ticket to the 2026 Grand Archive Nationals circuit of events. Like any other card, it can be traded or sold.
